Multiplication JpegLets play some games. This week we are going to be focusing on our multiplication tables. Monday and Tuesday we will work on 0-5, Wednesday we will work on the remaining factors. Below you will find links to several multiplication games. Click on one and start practicing. Good Luck!

Multiflyer - In this game you have to fly through space and answer problems to enter in the coordinates.  Once you get enough to enable your warp drive you can fly to the next location.  If you do not know the answer you can use the grid to locate the anwser.

Fun game.  My favorite!

Space Shuttle Launch - You need to answer questions to launch the shuttle to the moon.  Problem pops up, you enter in the product.

Sum Sense - This is the most challenging game.  You need to arrange the cards into the correct multiplication problems.  Fun, but very challenging.  Good Luck.

Ecosystem

Which animals and plants live in a desert? How about a pond or the ocean? What is a deciduous forest? What animals and plants live in a deciduous forest? How do the plants and animals in each ecosystem interact with each other in order to survive?

You are about to find out the answers to these questions. Happy hunting and have fun!

YOUR TASK

You will be working with your partner to complete this project.

* Your first task is to research one of the following ecosystems to determine what types of plants and animals call these places home. (The ecosytems you will research are: the desert, the pond, the ocean, and the deciduous forest.)

* Next, you will create a PowerPoint presentation to present your findings.

* Then you and your partner will create your ecosystem, from paper materials, using the information you have collected.

* Finally, using the PowerPoint you will illustrate and label an example of an environment, ecosystem, population, community, and habitat. (You can use your book to remind you what each of those words mean.)
