Papa JohnsWe have been working tirelessly this year and now it is time to have a little bit of fun!! To prepare for our AR Pizza party you will be planning an imaginary pizza party for your class. Make sure to READ EVERYTHING ON THIS PAGE!

Your Task:

-You will learn the history of pizza and how it is made, then write a summary of what you learned
-You will plan your party using skills you have learned in arithmetic, estimation and even some basic fractions
-You will figure out the cost of the entire party and then the cost for each student to attend
-You will create a PowerPoint telling everything your party will include.

What Next?

1. Read about the history of pizza and how it is made. Use the website links in the Resource section below to help you. Write down 10 interesting facts that you did not know about pizza.

2. Create a survey for your classmates in order to find out what they want at your party. Include at least three questions and have at least eight people take your survey.

3. Estimate how much pizza, drinks, cups, plates and napkins you will need and what the total cost will be. Use the website links on the Resource section below to help you. (Think about how much each student will eat and drink. Don’t forget to include yourself!)

4. Figure out how much the total cost will be and the cost to each of your classmates attending the party. (Don’t forget to include yourself!)

5. Create a PowerPoint of everything your party will include, the total cost, cost to each student and attach the summary of what you learned about the history and making of pizza.Dominoes
