Partsville
Okay, you and your partners are visiting a strange foreign land called -Partsville. While there you will visit many shops and try many different things.
While there it is important to try the local foods, and treats, drink some of the local water and participate in some other local activities. So lets get started.
Your Task:
While visiting this town, you will be looking for answers to the following 3 questions.
What are number parts? How do they work? How are they different from whole numbers?
You and your partners will create a PowerPoint slide to share your knowledge.
Click here to see what must be included in your PowerPoint.
Teams:
You will work in teams of three. Each of you will take one of the roles listed here.
Sharer: You will control the computer when the work involves sharing.
Measurer: You will control the computer when the work involves measuring.
Checker: You will control the computer to give the other two a rest, but your most important job will be to make sure everyone on your team agrees to an answer before you move to the next project.
Decide now who will do which job for this trip.
When you have decided on your jobs, leave a comment in this section telling who will be doing what job, the begin the first part of your trip.
Before you begin your adventure there are a couple of things you need to know.
Always make sure to log in under a students name NOT under CKESTUDENT!!! If you do log in under ckestu, I will not be able to retrieve your file.
To move through the PowerPoints, remember to press the arrow keys. Do not forget to change to the pen tool when it is time to write and change it back if you need to go to the next slide.
Remember to save it under the name + your group number.
Good Luck!
