Check out this website which shows you a picture comparing the sizes of the planets in our solar system. The last two pictures are of stars out side of our solar system. Very cool pictures.

Back at Mission Control

Wow, your data collection reports are AWESOME!! Just 2 more steps.

Houston Mission Control (Mission Control in Houston)

Step 4- Back at mission control

Submit your flight data collection paper to mission control. (Copy it from the word document into the comments section.) I will read over it and post any comments or corrections.

While you wait for that, begin to work on your PowerPoint Storyboard. This must be completed and checked off BEFORE you actually begin working on your PowerPoint.

PowerPoint presentation should include the following:

1. Title page with all crew members’ names and planet name, with a picture.

2. Slide two and three should summarize all the data you collected in a table format. (File >; Table >; Insert Table, there should be 2 columns and 13 rows.) Look at the table here for an example. Yours will look different, this just shows you what a table should look like.

3. Slide four should contain any information that you think should be included to help the scientists make their final decision about our next home planet.

4. Slide 5 should include some additional pictures you gathered during your exploration.

European Mission Control (European Mission Control)

Remember always keep in contact with Mission Control. Post any questions or comments in the comments section. Make sure to read the comments occasionally, because you never know what might be in there. (Hint, Hint)

NASA’s website has a lot of great information. Go and look it over by clicking on the picture below. Read about the new project named Constellation. Do you think it is important for us to return to the moon? Why or why not? I would really like to know what yall think.

Project Constellation

After you have looked around visit the NASA kids site. See you on Monday.
